6th Grade EDU The Students learned about the art movement of Cubism. They chose a shape of their choice and broke it up into pieces. Each piece was designed or colored in with oil pastels. The students focused on creating harmonious color palettes, using contrasting or like colors.

What's Going On In Art 4th Grade: The beginning of the month was focused on the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. The students learned about this Mexican tradition and it's importance in the culture. We made paper collages of the famous Sugar Skulls in celebration!  4th Grade EDU: The EDU students learned about Warm & Cool Colors. We used various shapes to create a composition that the students would then paint in with either a warm color palette or cool color palette. Watercolor was the medium for this lesson, allowing the students to also work with various shades of color. Currently the 4th grade students are learning about Native American Weaving.
