4th Grade EDU

The 4th grade EDU students learned about camouflage. They made lizards out of tag board and then chose a pattern/design to make on it using oil pastels. A background was created, using the same design. We glued the lizards on, adding some height, so they wouldn't lay flat.



6th Grade EDU

The EDU students learned about metamorphosis and how it's a gradual change from one thing to another. The students chose two objects, which were similar in shape. Using 6 or 8 squares, they had to show a slow transition from the first object to the last. The students used shading to add color and detail.

What's Going On In Art 4th Grade: The beginning of the month was focused on the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. The students learned about this Mexican tradition and it's importance in the culture. We made paper collages of the famous Sugar Skulls in celebration!  4th Grade EDU: The EDU students learned about Warm & Cool Colors. We used various shapes to create a composition that the students would then paint in with either a warm color palette or cool color palette. Watercolor was the medium for this lesson, allowing the students to also work with various shades of color. Currently the 4th grade students are learning about Native American Weaving. 4th Grade EDU The EDU students learned about various habitats and the animals that live in them. Each student choose an animal and sculpted it out of model magic. They then created the environment or habitat it lives in by making a 3-D Diorama.
