The 6th EDU students made sculptures out of various wooden blocks. Their sculpture had to be at least 6 inches tall and use at least 5 blocks.

6th Grade EDU The EDU students worked on making action silhouettes. Each student had to draw a person doing/ showing an action. All drawings were done on black construction paper and cut out. For the background we learned about what a monochromatic palette looks like. The students made a design and then had to pick one color and using white paint, they created various shades and tints to paint it in.
What's Going On In Art 4th Grade: The beginning of the month was focused on the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. The students learned about this Mexican tradition and it's importance in the culture. We made paper collages of the famous Sugar Skulls in celebration! 4th Grade EDU: The EDU students learned about Warm & Cool Colors. We used various shapes to create a composition that the students would then paint in with either a warm color palette or cool color palette. Watercolor was the medium for this lesson, allowing the students to also work with various shades of color. Currently the 4th grade students are learning about Native American Weaving. 4th Grade EDU The 4th grade EDU students just finished up a lesson on animals and their habitats. The students made 3-D animals, realistic or mythical out of model magic and then created their habitat/environment by making a diorama out of paper.
