The 6th EDU students made sculptures out of various wooden blocks. Their sculpture had to be at least 6 inches tall and use at least 5 blocks.

4th Grade EDU The EDU students learned about various habitats and the animals that live in them. Each student choose an animal and sculpted it out of model magic. They then created the environment or habitat it lives in by making a 3-D Diorama.
5th Grade The 5th grade students finished up their lesson on Line Design. The students used repeating lines to create an illusion of movement. Their illusions were either enhanced with color or left black and white. 4th Grade The 4th grade students learned about overlapping to create depth in a drawing. They used this technique to create cities. Each student had to draw at least 6 buildings, making sure sure they had placement in the foreground, middle-ground and background. Marker, crayon and colored pencils were used to add color and detail. 4th Grade EDU The EDU students worked with rainbow scratch paper for their underwater worlds. At the beginning of class we brainstormed together on what types of animals and plants live in the ocean. We made a list on the board and each child had to incorporate at least 5 of the items into their drawing. 6th Grade The 6th grade students of the Blodgett/Pruett and Miles/Ciampa teams have just completed a unit on mask making. The students used plaster craft to model their masks based off of individual sketches or replicas of known characters. The masks were painted with acrylic paints and decorated using gems, sequence, feathers, pipe cleaners, pom-poms etc.. Each mask, even though all derived from the same mold, show how creative this group of students are!
